Aaron Judge Nearing A Return
1 year agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone doesn't have a specific return date for outfielder Aaron Judge (toe), but he's said multiple times that "he's getting close." Next Tuesday, June 25, against the New York Mets was mentioned as a possibility, and Boone didn't rule it out. This should make fantasy managers ecstatic, as Judge has been sidelined since June 3 due to a torn ligament in his right big toe. The 31-year-old All-Star slugger has been taking on-field batting practice and doing light running and apparently has been feeling better. Running the bases full speed will likely be the last thing he needs to do before he's cleared to return. Judge will return to a .291/.404/.674 slash line with a 1.078 OPS, 19 homers, 10 doubles, 40 RBI, three steals and 42 runs scored, and he's a must-start in all fantasy lineups when healthy.
