Yankees Could Pursue Dylan Carlson At Trade Deadline
1 year agoThe New York Yankees could be interested in trading for St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Monday. The Yankees have dealt with injuries and poor performance in the outfield this season and Carlson will likely lose his starting role now that Tyler O'Neill is back from the injured list. The former top prospect has put up an uninspiring .243/.350/.376 slash line five home runs, 21 RBI, and three stolen bases in 203 plate appearances this season. While a change of scenery could always provide benefits, Calrson's overall fantasy value would still remain relatively low even if he were to be traded.
