1 year agoMinnesota Twins pitching prospect Connor Prielipp (elbow) underwent ulnar collateral ligament surgery in his pitching elbow Monday, per The Athletic's Dan Hayes. Hayes noted that the surgery was merely a UCL repair with the inclusion of an internal brace, not a full Tommy John surgery. The 22-year-old is the team's top pitching prospect, per MLB's Prospect Rankings. However, he previously underwent Tommy John surgery in 2021 and has made just two career starts in his professional career. Prielipp still holds a good deal of fantasy value in dynasty leagues, and while a timetable for his recovery is not yet known, fantasy managers should not expect him to pitch again this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
