Alexander Munoz Does Enough To Get Decision Nod
1 year agoLightweights Alexander Munoz and Carl Deaton III came out of the gates swinging for the fences on Saturday. Munoz was able to draw "first blood" with a big elbow that found its spot. Munoz would resurface in the third round, landing a shot that floored Deaton while following up with hard strikes. Munoz was able to keep the pressure on until the bell rang. In 15 minutes of action, Munoz landed 44 significant strikes compared to the 37 of Deaton. Munoz was less than great with his takedowns, only landing three of his seven tries.
