Bobby Miller Feels Some Knee Discomfort During Sunday Start
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Bobby Miller felt some discomfort in his right knee during his start on Sunday against the New York Mets. Miller was pulled in the fifth inning after a visit from manager Dave Martinez and a trainer. After the game, Martinez said the move to the bullpen had nothing to do with Miller's knee, and Miller confirmed that he is all good and wanted to stay in the game to get out of the inning. The young righty went 4 ⅔ innings before being pulled, surrendering one run while striking out five. It sounds like this is a minor issue that shouldn't prevent the rookie from making his next scheduled start.
