The Nets waived guard Edmond Sumner, the team announced on its Twitter account. The 27-year-old logged 53 games in Brooklyn in 2022-23 after spending his first four seasons with the Pacers. He was primarily used off the bench with the Nets. However, he averaged 13.2 points and 1.3 steals in 12 starts. Sumner has many attributes that will make him an attractive commodity this offseason, so he'll likely have no trouble finding work.
