Edmundo Sosa Exits Meeting With Padres
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Edmundo Sosa (hand, leg) left the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the San Diego Padres. The 27-year-old took a pitch to the hand in the seventh inning. However, he was bothered by a leg issue while running the bases, resulting in his premature departure from the contest. Luckily, skipper Rob Thomson reported Sosa had a cramp before adding that his hand "checked out ok." For now, fantasy managers should consider Sosa as day-to-day, with a more definitive update likely coming ahead of Sunday's series finale.
