Fernando Tatis Jr. Removed From Saturday's Game
1 year agoSan Diego Padres star outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. was pulled from Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Phillies with an apparent injury. He appeared to come up slightly gimpy after chasing a double in the third inning. The 24-year-old stayed in the game but was replaced in the sixth inning by Brandon Dixon. He went 0-for-3 with an RBI before exiting. Tatis is considered day-to-day, and the Padres should have an update after the game. Dixon should see an uptick in playing time if Tatis were to miss any time. Stay tuned for more updates.
