1 year agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Jose Miranda (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday. The 25-year-old has been sidelined the last couple of weeks in an attempt to help his shoulder injury. The organization has finally decided to place Miranda on the injured list due to a right shoulder impingement. They haven't given a timetable for his return to the field. In the meantime, outfielder Matt Wallner has been recalled to take the spot on the active roster. Wallner did well during his brief stint on the Twins earlier in the season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
