Raptors Reportedly In The Mix For Tyler Herro
1 year agoAccording to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Raptors may get involved in the anticipated trade between the Heat and Trail Blazers surrounding All-Star guard Damian Lillard. It's clear Portland has no desire to add Tyler Herro to the roster. But Toronto has expressed interest, and although the club hasn't made it known who it would send in return, Pascal Siakam could be worth monitoring. Herro has been a reliable performer when healthy, averaging 17.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and shot 38.3% from deep in 242 regular season appearances. He also won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2022. Unfortunately, the 23-year-old hasn't impressed on the defensive end, and he has been limited to 67 games or fewer in each season since entering the league in 2019. That said, Herro is expected to remain a potent fantasy presence even if he's not wearing a Heat uniform in 2023, especially for those in category formats.
