Hunter Tyson Goes Off For 31 Points Against Miami
1 year agoDenver Nuggets small forward Hunter Tyson scored at will against the Heat in Friday's 112-81 Summer League win, topping all scorers with 31 points on 11-for-13 shooting. Most of his makes came from downtown with a phenomenal 7-for-9 effort. The forward out of Clemson was plus-43 across just 27 minutes of action, adding four rebounds and two assists to his tally. Tyson was only a second-round pick in last month's draft, but he has shown in the Summer League that he could be ready to produce for the NBA champions right away. The 23-year-old has averaged 21.8 points along with 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists, shooting over 51 percent from three-point land.
