MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Spencer Strider OVER 8.5 Strikeouts (-165, DK) vs. CWS
I'll start things off where I did last week, with Spencer Strider's strikeouts prop. Strider has been on fire in 2023, with a 38.9% strikeout rate. That number has slightly decreased over the last two weeks, down to 38.5%. However, he gets a fantastic matchup against the White Sox today, who are striking out at a 28.4% clip over the last week. Strider projects to a 39.35% strikeout rate today and 10.97 strikeouts today.
Connor Seabold UNDER 3.5 Strikeouts (-116, FD) vs. NYY
I'll wrap things up on the pitching side with Connor Seabold's strikeout prop. Seabold brings in a minuscule 16.5% strikeout rate across the 2023 season, and just 15.9% over the last two weeks. It'll be a tough ask of him to shut the Yankees lineup down via the strikeout today, who is striking out at an 18.8% clip over the last two weeks, down from 22% over the course of the season. Seabold projects to a 15.8% strikeout rate today and just 2.74 strikeouts. If this was in Yankee Stadium I might have faded, but in Coors, I think the Yanks get to him early and often, getting him out of the game before he's able to reach this number.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Isaac Paredes OVER 1.5 TB vs. KC (G1)
I'll start things off as far as hitters go with Isaac Paredes's total bases prop. Paredes has hit righties well this season, with a .384 wOBA. That number has jumped up to .430 over the last two weeks, and Paredes gets a solid matchup in game one of the doubleheader today against Alec Marsh. Marsh comes into this one with a 5.67 SIERA. My model projects Paredes for 1.98 total bases in this one. There’s no line for this one quite yet, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it.
Nolan Arenado OVER 1.5 TB vs. WSH
I'll wrap things up with another run-back play, running Nolan Arenado's total bases prop. Arenado brings in a whopping .584 wOBA against righties over the last two weeks, and a projected .402 wOBA today against Washington starter Jake Irvin. Irvin brings in a poor 5.59 SIERA over the last two weeks and projects to a 5.50 SIERA today. Arenado projects to 2.14 total bases in this one, and I don't hate sprinkling on his home run prop, either. The line hasn’t been posted yet due to last night’s weather-suspended game, but once it does, I’ll be all over it.
