1 year agoBaltimore Orioles center fielder Cedric Mullins on Friday night contributed with a home run and a stolen base to help beat the Miami Marlins by a score of 5-2. Mullins kickstarted the action in the second inning by leading off with a single, stealing second base, advancing to third on a throwing error, and crossing home plate on Adam Frazier's RBI single, giving the Orioles their first run. In the fourth inning, he faced pitcher Sandy Alcantara and blasted a solo home run to give the Orioles a 2-1 lead. Mullins concluded the night going 3-for-4 at the plate. Currently, he's hitting .256/.345/.452. Additionally, the 28-year-old has nine homers, 46 RBI and has swiped 14 bags.
