1 year agoBoston Red Sox infielder Pablo Reyes (abdomen) will continue his minor-league rehab assignment with Double-A Portland this weekend and will not rejoin the team until next week. The Red Sox are giving Reyes a little more time to recover from an abdominal strain, but as long as he doesn't have a setback during games this weekend, he should be back in Boston early next week. The 29-year-old will give the Red Sox more infield depth when he returns, but he's unlikely to find regular playing time, especially with shortstop Trevor Story (elbow) nearing his season debut. Reyes has hit .303 (20-for-66) with no homers, four doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored in 27 games in his first year in Beantown.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
