1 year agoDallas Stars forward Ty Dellandrea has re-signed with the team for one year after being a restricted free agent. The two sides agreed on a deal that's worth $900,000. The 22-year-old had his first full season in the NHL in 2022-23, registering nine goals and 28 points in 82 games, while delivering 125 hits. Stars general manager Jim Nill has called Dellandrea "a heart-and-soul type of player", and the former first-round pick appears to have a promising future in Dallas. However, with Matt Duchene joining the gang and Evgenii Dadonov re-upping with the team, Dellandrea looks to be stuck to a bottom-six role in 2022-23 with a healthy lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
