Jordan Westburg Shifts Over To Third Base
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg will move over to third base for Friday's game against the Miami Marlins. The 24-year-old has made six starts at second base, while Friday's game marks his fifth time playing third base since being called up. It appears the O's want Westburg to get comfortable at both positions. He originally came up as a shortstop, but Gunnar Henderson has that covered right now. Westburg is slashing .325/.400/.500 with six RBI since joining the O's roster. He'll bat ninth versus right-hander Sandy Alcantara on Friday.
