Chris Paul Plans To Play Beyond This Season
1 year agoGolden State Warriors guard Chris Paul plans to play beyond this season. The 38-year-old, who's salary isn't guaranteed in 2024-25, has had a productive career, averaging 17.9 points, 9.5 assists, and 2.1 steals in 1,214 regular season games. He spent the last three seasons in Phoenix. However, Paul battled injuries and was traded during the offseason. Although the 2005 No. 4 overall pick hasn't discussed his role in Golden State with head coach Steve Kerr, most assume he will come off the bench. But considering how often Kerr changes things, the veteran should get some chances with the first five throughout the 2023-24 campaign. If Paul figures out how to stay on the court, he can still be an impactful fantasy option, despite his expected statistical regression.
