Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of breach of peace stemming from an incident in Las Vegas last year. As a result of his no-contest plea, he will be required to complete 30 hours of community service and pay around $100k in restitution to the victim, Darnell Greene, for past-due medical expenses.
Due to this decision, there is speculation that the New Orleans Saints running back will be suspended by the NFL. Last season, he received no consequences for his actions, but now that the ruling is complete, commissioner Roger Goodell may take action against Kamara soon.
In this article, we will discuss whether Kamara will be suspended by the NFL and how this will affect fantasy football managers.

Will Alvin Kamara get suspended?
Given how strict the NFL has been in the past when it comes to players breaking the law, Alvin Kamara is very likely to face a suspension. According to Tom Pelissero, the league is keeping a close eye on the RB's situation.
Although the suspension will not be long, fantasy managers should expect Kamara to miss at least 3-5 games as a result of it. With training camps beginning in a few days, the decision on the 27-year-old running back could be made soon.
The Saints signed former Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams to a three-year, $12 million contract earlier this offseason, and he will fill the void left if Kamara misses games due to suspension.
How impactful will Alvin Kamara be in fantasy football in 2023 season?
Alvin Kamara did not have a productive season last year, and with a suspension looming, the running back is likely to have another subpar season. Last season, Kamara had 223 carries for 897 yards, 57 receptions for 490 yards, and scored four touchdowns in 15 games.
The addition of Jamaal Williams will also reduce Kamara's touches, and with Derek Carr at the helm, the Saints are likely to improve their passing game as well. As a result, acquiring Kamara may not yield positive results for fantasy managers across the board.
