Tyler Glasnow To Start Against Royals On Friday
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Tyler Glasnow is in line to open up on the mound for the team to start the second half of the season on Friday against the Kansas City Royals. Glasnow left his final start of the first half early on July 7 against the Atlanta Braves due to cramps in his hand and legs, but it was nothing serious and he'll be ready to roll to kick off the weekend series against KC after having the All-Star break to rest up. Against one of the weaker hitting teams in the big leagues, the 29-year-old will be a must-start in fantasy lineups as he kicks off the second half. Glasnow was on a nice little run to end the first half and is currently 2-3 with a 4.10 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 64 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings over his eight starts in 2023.
