Leonard Miller Leads Timberwolves In Scoring Monday
1 year agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Leonard Miller was the team's top scorer with 20 points in Monday's 108-96 Summer League defeat to Utah. He hit a solid 2-for-4 from downtown and had a 7-for-15 overall record from the field. The 33rd pick of this year's draft also contributed well defensively by getting three steals, and he completed his work with five rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes. This was a second consecutive impressive effort from Miller after he made his Summer League debut Friday with a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double. He has just signed a four-year deal with at least two seasons guaranteed, and Miller appears to be capable of helping the Timberwolves in multiple ways, although it remains to be seen how big of a role he will have during his rookie campaign.
