New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was a first-round pick in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. However, the former California quarterback barely played over the first three years of his career.
Despite riding the bench over the first three years of his career, Rodgers is a sure-fire future Hall of Famer. The veteran has won four MVP awards, including two over the past three years. Furthermore, he has made the pro bowl in four of the past five seasons.
After spending 18 years with the Packers, Rodgers asked for a trade to the Jets. While Green Bay turns the page to the Jordan Love era, Rodgers aims to bring a Super Bowl championship to New York. However, will the future Hall of Famer be a top-10 fantasy quarterback in 2023?

What Did Aaron Rodgers Accomplish In 2022?
Unfortunately, Rodgers had a disappointing 2022 season by his own standards. The veteran had 85 passing touchdowns over the previous two years. However, he had only 26 passing touchdowns last year, his lowest total since the 2018 season.
The numbers on the surface were subpar for the future Hall of Famer. Yet, Rodgers finished seventh in the NFL in passing touchdowns despite playing most of the year with a thumb injury on his throwing hand.
However, the veteran was a fantasy bust. Rodgers ended last season as the QB13, averaging only 14.1 fantasy points per game, the lowest average of his career as the starter.
Will Aaron Rodgers Be A Top-10 Fantasy Quarterback In 2023?
While the former California star was a bust last season, fantasy players should feel confident the veteran will bounce back in 2023. Rodgers is determined to show everyone he hasn’t lost a step and remains one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. Furthermore, he looks locked in and ready to go this offseason.
Rodgers’ fantasy production declined last season because of the thumb injury. However, it was also his receiving core. The Packers traded away Davante Adams in the offseason, leaving the veteran quarterback with two rookies and Allen Lazard as his starting three wide receivers.
However, Rodgers will have Lazard with him in New York this season. The Jets also added Mecole Hardman Jr. in free agency. More importantly, the future Hall of Famer has the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year award winner, Garrett Wilson, on the roster. Therefore, fantasy players should expect a bounce-back year from Rodgers.
