1 year agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is the team's clear-cut lead back heading into training camp later this month. If the Patriots don't add another back after parting ways with James Robinson, Ty Montgomery would likely slot in as the third-down back with solid instincts and versatility to become a safety blanket in the passing game. It remains to be seen if second-year backs Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris can step up to spell Stevenson in the running game. Stevenson had 210 carries for 1,040 yards and five TDs last year while adding 69 catches for 421 yards and another TD. With Damien Harris also out of the picture in New England, Stevenson has low-end RB1 value heading into the 2023 campaign in an offense that should rely heavily on the ground game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
