1 year agoNew York Mets third baseman Brett Baty (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the San Diego Padres. The left-handed slugger missed Thursday's contest due to left hamstring soreness. It sounds like Baty is being considered day-to-day right now. Honestly, it wouldn't be shocking to see the Mets give Baty a few more days off with the All-Star break next week.
