Jets Gaining Momentum On Dalvin Cook
1 year agoFree-agent running back Dalvin Cook remains one of the biggest names available on the open market. The 27-year-old is expected to sign sooner rather than later with training camp quickly approaching. Profootballtalk's Mike Florio reports the New York Jets are gaining momentum towards signing Cook. On paper, the Jets signing Cook does make some sense. Breece Hall (knee) is still recovering from ACL surgery, so it's unknown if he'll be ready to play by Week 1. The Jets need to be all-in this season considering it might be a one-and-done year with Aaron Rodgers on the Jets. Cook would probably have better fantasy value elsewhere on a team with no competition. Although, he should be a reliable contributor in New York, assuming Hall is limited to begin the season. It sounds like other teams are in play as well, so we'll see what happens with Cook.
