Tyler Wells Turns In Quality Start, No-Decision Monday
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Tyler Wells turned in another solid start in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Yankees. Wells pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits (including two solo home runs) and two walks with four strikeouts. The 28-year-old has pitched surprisingly well this season, going 6-4 with a 3.19 ERA and seven quality starts in 16 outings. He has provided a good deal of fantasy value and will look to keep things going in his next start at the Twins.
