Sixto Sanchez Resumes Throwing Program
1 year agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez (shoulder) has reportedly resumed his throwing program. The right-hander is throwing from 90-105 feet, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald. He was previously shut down due to a setback with his right shoulder. The team plans to build Sanchez up slowly, so it's uncertain when he'll make it back to the big league mound. The hope is that Sanchez can contribute to the Marlins roster at some point this season, but regardless it's good to see him throwing again.
