Shawn Dubin Looks Solid In First Career Start
1 year agoHouston Astros pitcher Shawn Dubin was asked to take the mound versus the Texas Rangers for his first career MLB start on Sunday. The right-hander delivered a surprisingly solid performance here. Dubin went four innings, allowing three hits, and only one earned run in the 5-3 victory. The right-hander has missed some time due to an elbow strain and is still building up his strength from that injury. He was knocked around before this performance, but after a strong start here, the Astros might give him another turn in the rotation.
