Jack Suwinski Homers, Drives In Four
1 year agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Jack Suwinski went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 11-8 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. He kickstarted things with a two-run single in the sixth inning to put the Pirates on the scoreboard. Suwinski later took Clayton Andrews deep in the eighth inning to cut the Brewers lead 11-5. It was his 17th long ball of the season. The 24-year-old has now homered twice over his last five games. He is slashing .228/.351/.498 with 17 home runs, 42 RBI, 36 runs, and seven stolen bases over 72 games in 2023. Suwinski will look to build on Saturday's performance in the Sunday series finale against the Brewers.
