Ryan O'Reilly Moves To Nashville
1 year agoThe Nashville Predators have snapped up center Ryan O'Reilly in free agency, signing a four-year, $18 million deal with the three-time All-Star. The Predators pretty much cleared the house at the center position ahead of free agency by trading away Ryan Johansen and buying out Matt Duchene, and they appear to have big plans for O'Reilly, who has posted 702 points in 991 career games. The 32-year-old was one of six deadline acquisitions for Toronto and the Maple Leafs wanted to retain his services, but O'Reilly is moving on after spending just a few months with the team and playing in only 13 regular-season games due to injury. He will be looking to produce a bounce-back season in the Music City after being limited to only 16 goals and 30 points in 53 games with the Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues last term.
