1 year agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson went 2-for-3 with two walks, two home runs, and four RBI in Thursday's 8-5 win over the Texas Rangers. He took Cody Bradford deep in the fifth inning and later bashed his second homer off John King during the eighth inning in Thursday's win. The 23-year-old had his first-multi-homer game of the season and racked up a career four RBI on Thursday. He is slashing .223/.304/.392 with 11 home runs, 39 RBI, 36 runs, and two stolen bases over 78 games in 2023. Torkelson has homered in two of his last three games, and fantasy managers should continue to roll with the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft while he's wielding a hot bat.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
