Welcome to our PrizePicks PGA DFS prop picks for the Rocket Mortgage Classic (Round 2). The golf season is in full swing, and PrizePicks has an extensive selection of props for us to take advantage of! PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or singular stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win PGA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit of up to $100.
This week, we're at Detroit Golf Club for the Rocket Mortgage Classic! Detroit Golf Club played about as easy as expected today with 24 players shooting -5 or better in round one. I expect much of the same tomorrow in round two with soft conditions. Look for plenty of birdies all day long. I and the entire Rotoballer PGA staff have put out 1,000s of words on the course, key stats, and field this week, so this article won't be focused on the minutiae of projecting outright winners or DFS pivot plays. Instead, I'll be solely focused on a few money-making opportunities I've found in PrizePicks' unique markets to help you build your bankroll as the PGA Tour season gets into full swing! Today's plays are specifically for round two on Friday, June 30th.

Rickie Fowler MORE than 5.0 Birdies or Better
Rickie Fowler made eight birdies in round one and was on cruise control until the final two holes of the day. In a post round interview he explained he had to go the bathroom and it affected his play. Regardless of reasoning, Fowler had birdie looks all day and had a realistic shot to shoot -7. If that duplicates in round 2, the more than five should be an easy hit.
Fowler hit 14/18 Greens in Regulation in round one, continuing his stretch of hot iron play. Over the past four events, Fowler has gained at least 2.4 strokes on approach in each. His worst finish over that stretch was a 13th place finish at the Travelers. Round one was not a spike for Fowler, he's fully back and I expect him to contend on the weekend. The birdies will continue to pour in during round two.
Sam Bennett LESS than 69.5 Strokes
Sam Bennett is going to be a stud. He showed up on everyone's radar with his spectacular performance at the Masters in April. Since then he has made three of four cuts and shown life at various styles of events, ranging from the U.S. Open to the RBC Canadian Open. This week's birdie fest appears to be a nice setup for him as he ranks 23rd in the field in opportunities gained over the last 12 rounds. He capitalized on this day today shooting a 7-under, 65.
Bennett finished the day 11th in the field in Greens in Regulation, hitting 15 of 18. His seven birdies put him T6 in the field on the day and he only bogeyed two holes, one was a three-putt from 20 feet. Sam Bennett gave himself opportunities to score all day and I expect much of the same tomorrow. He missed two putts from five feet or less, so in actuality he could have easily shot -9 in round one. We aren't going to get greedy and complain, but the point is that the less than 69.5 in round two should be an easy win.

Rickie Fowler MORE Birdies or Better than Tom Kim
Frankly I can't believe they're offering this matchup. Rickie Fowler, as noted above, has been red hot over the past month and a half and continued his hot play today. On the flip side, Tom Kim finished the day a putrid +1, making just two birdies all day. Eight birdies from Fowler compared to two from Kim while one guy is in contention and the other is on his way to an early flight out of Detroit does not seem like a fair toss up.
In addition, there are rumors of injury surrounding Tom Kim. He popped up late on the injury report this week and his disastrous round one leads me to believe there may be something to the report. I don't expect Tom Kim to push himself too hard tomorrow. He knows he's going to need to shoot something low to even have a shot at making the cut so if he gets off to a slow start, it wouldn't shock me to see him coast to the weekend and rest up.
