Dolphins Make An Offer To Dalvin Cook
1 year agoNFL Network's Tom Pelissero said on the Rich Eisen Show on Tuesday that free-agent running back Dalvin Cook has received "multiple offers," and the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson says that the Miami Dolphins are one of the teams that have made an offer to Cook, according to a source with direct knowledge. There is mutual interest from both sides, as Cook has called Miami a "perfect fit," although he's in no rush to sign and has time to wait for a dollar amount he's comfortable with. Pelissero mentioned the Patriots, Jets and Broncos as potential suitors in addition to the Dolphins. The 27-year-old's fantasy value will be determined by his landing spot, but Miami already has a crowded backfield with Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie De'Von Achane. Despite dealing with injuries, Cook has posted four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
