Jordan Westburg Collects First Career Hit Monday
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jordan Westburg had a memorable big-league debut in Monday's 10-3 win over the Reds. Starting at second, the 24-year-old went 1-for-4 with a single, an RBI, and a walk. He was caught stealing but showcased his glove with a nice defensive play. Westburg is the team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and is the latest of a number of promising, young players to join the team. He spent time at second, third, and shortstop with Triple-A Norfolk, so his potential multi-position eligibility and strong hitting performance make him worth a look in all fantasy leagues at this time.
