Carlos Rodon Looks Great In Second Rehab Start
1 year agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back) is getting closer to making his debut for the Yankees in 2023. In his second minor-league rehab start for Double-A Somerset on Sunday, he didn't allow a run while giving up just one hit, walking none and striking out four in four innings of work. Rodon was able to throw 48 pitches in the contest, with 36 going for strikes. The 30-year-old southpaw is expected to make one more rehab start before making his season debut for the Yanks on July 5. In his two rehab starts, Rodon has fanned nine batters while walking just one, so he appears to be in midseason form after signing a big free-agent contract to join the Bombers over the winter. Fantasy managers are chomping at the bit to use Rodon in their fantasy lineups.
