Demario Douglas Impresses During Offseason Workouts
1 year agoThere was a lot of focus on New England Patriots sixth-round rookie wide receiver Kayshon Boutte after the draft, but Demario Douglas was the more impressive player during offseason workouts. His size at 5-foot-8 could be a long-term issue, but his agility and creativity out of the slot seem to make him a natural fit for offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien's scheme. Douglas still has plenty of work to do to make the 53-man roster out of training camp this summer, but he made a positive first step this offseason. The 22-year-old will only be an option in deep dynasty/keeper formats, as he's buried on the receiver depth chart behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker, Tyquan Thornton and Kendrick Bourne for the time being.
