1 year agoBrendan Allen pulled out an amazing victory on Saturday by earning a submission win over Bruno Silva. In 4:39 of action, Allen tallied 30 significant strikes compared to the 20 of Silva. Allen also earned 2:29 of control time. The win puts Allen on a five-fight winning streak in the UFC's middleweight division. The 13th-ranked Allen should see a jump in the rankings after this fight. A top-10 opponent could be waiting in the wings for the Louisiana native. This was also Allen's 13th submission win.--Matt Bricker
