Seattle Mariners third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 3-for-5 at the plate and added three RBI as the Mariners destroyed the Baltimore Orioles 13-1 on Friday. In the second frame, the 31-year-old Suarez delivered an RBI single off Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Gibson. In the eighth inning, he kick-started the rally with a double, scoring on an RBI single by Jarred Kelenic. Later in the same inning, he sealed the scoring for the game with a two-run single. The experienced third basemen is now slashing .224/.319/.342 with seven home runs and 44 RBIs in 2023.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez is not in Sunday's lineup when they conclude a series against the Chicago Cubs. Suarez has started in each of the first 21 games of the regular season. During this stretch, the power-hitting third baseman has held a .145/.253/.421 slash line with three doubles and six home runs. He enjoyed an impressive start, holding a .250/.379/.919 line with five long balls across the first seven games. Over his last 14 games, he has posted a rough .096 AVG. Fantasy managers should expect the 33-year-old to return to the starting nine on Tuesday, when they host the Tampa Bay Rays. As a result, Garrett Hampson will cover the hot corner on Sunday afternoon and bat in the nine-hole.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Arizona Diamondbacks' third baseman Eugenio Suarez hit a grand slam on Friday afternoon in the DBack's 13-11 loss to the Chicago Cubs. The grand slam was his sixth home run on the season and he's now hitting for a .709 OPS. The HR was much needed for the 33-year-old, who hadn't hit one in over two weeks. Fantasy managers will be glad to see the power is still there but his .153 batting average may make them feel like his production is either boom or bust, making him tougher to trust if he doesn't become more consistent. He'll look to keep improving on Saturday against scheduled Cubs' starter Ben Brown.--Kevin Larson - RotoBaller

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez continued his power run in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Yankees. The 33-year-old went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a strikeout. Suarez hit an eighth-inning Mark Leiter Jr. off-speed pitch just over the left-field wall to put the Diamondbacks up for good. He has picked up right where he left off in 2024 and is now slashing .278/.381/1.111 with five home runs and 11 RBI in his first 21 plate appearances. While his current HR pace is not sustainable, Suarez has offered high-end power for most of his career. The issue at times has been very low batting averages, but he could continue to be a fantasy surprise if he bats close to the .256 he compiled last season or better.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during their loss to the Chicago Cubs on Saturday evening. Suarez went deep in the final inning off Chicago closer Ryan Pressly. This home run also scored first baseman Josh Naylor. Through the first three games of the season, Suarez has gone deep at least once in all of them and has launched four total. During this stretch, he has tallied seven RBI and held a 1:1 BB:K. The 33-year-old had a slow start to his Arizona tenure last season but swung a hot bat in the second half. After the All-Star break, Suarez posted an elite .307/.341/.602 slash line, and it appears he is picking up right where he left off. Fantasy managers should continue to view the 33-year-old as a must-start option in all formats. He is also worth a look in DFS facing Chicago southpaw Matthew Boyd.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
