Pablo Reyes Injured Thursday
1 year agoBoston Red Sox infielder Pablo Reyes (undisclosed) was forced from Thursday's game early against the Minnesota Twins and was replaced at second base by Enrique Hernandez. Reyes dealt with abdominal soreness two days ago, so perhaps it's related to that. Before leaving, Reyes went 0-for-1 to drop his season average to .303. For now, let's consider the 29-year-old to be day-to-day until we know more about his condition. Entering Thursday's game, Reyes had been performing well for the Red Sox in 26 games, hitting .308 (20-for-65) with no homers, four doubles, nine RBI, one steal and nine runs scored in 71 plate appearances.
