Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Continues To Struggle
1 year agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 0-for-4 in a 6-3 win over the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. It's been a tough go lately for Guerrero Jr., who is just 2-for-16 over his last four games. Three of his four outs in this one were groundouts, two of which had sub-80 mph exit velocities. The 24-year-old slugger is slashing just .243/.333/.324 in the month of June and has just one home run over his last 27 games. Guerrero Jr. hasn't been a total zero for fantasy purposes but his power, or lack thereof, leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, he's slashing .275/.345/.423 with nine home runs, 42 RBI, and three stolen bases over 284 at-bats.
