Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy (hamstring) remains out of the lineup on Wednesday against the Phillies as he deals with a hamstring injury. Murphy hasn't appeared since injuring his hamstring on Saturday against the Rockies while Travis d'Arnaud continues to see heavy reps behind the plate, hitting sixth on Wednesday against Phillies righty Aaron Nola. Murphy has certainly made his presence felt in his first season in Atlanta, hitting .287 with 12 home runs alongside a .920 OPS across 57 appearances on the campaign. Fortunately, the Braves have the firepower to be cautious with Murphy as they have managed to score 28 runs over their last three games.--Brenton Kemp

Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy (rest) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Murphy will get a rest day here after starting in the first two games of the series. He went 2-for-6 with a solo homer and two runs scored during the first two contests. In his absence, Drake Baldwin will start behind the plate and bat eighth against right-hander Brandon Pfaadt. Baldwin is viewed as one of the team's top prospects, but isn't a great add in fantasy rosters while splitting up time with Murphy behind the plate.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy hit a clutch three-run home run in the eighth inning of Monday's 7-6 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. At the time, the homer gave the Braves a 7-3 lead. They were fortunate that Murphy gave them that insurance since the Cards roared back in the ninth. Murphy finished the day 1-for-4 with the key homer, continuing his all-or-nothing trend (five homers, three singles). After coming off the IL hot, the 30-year-old was slumping coming into this one, going 1-for-13 with seven strikeouts over his last four. Murphy tends to run hot and cold, and his fantasy managers should be aware of this and not overreact to a cold stretch.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller

Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy is taking a seat on Sunday when the Braves play the final game in their series against the Minnesota Twins. Murphy has been in the starting lineup in each of their previous seven contests. Instead, he will cede catching duties to young backstop Drake Baldwin, who will bat in the seven-hole. Since returning from a rib injury, Murphy has enjoyed a solid start to his campaign, holding a .200/.333/.543 slash line with four long balls, eight RBI, and a 15:4 K:BB. He has generated an impressive .363 xwOBA, which suggests he should continue to see significant positive regression when he returns to the starting nine. Fantasy managers should expect Murphy to return to the lineup on Monday evening when they host the Cardinals. Baldwin is best to fade in DFS facing right-hander Joe Ryan.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy led his team to victory on Saturday, smashing two solo homers in a 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Murphy ended the day 2-for-4 with the pair of homers, two runs scored, and two RBI. He has shown his power since his return from the IL, knocking three homers in just four games. We have seen Murphy play at a high level for fantasy before, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him become a must-start catcher again. He is worth an add in deeper leagues and possibly some standard-size leagues as well.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
