Zonovan Knight Expected To Be Fighting For Roster Spot
1 year agoNew York Jets running back Zonovan Knight played well at the end of last season, but he will still likely be fighting for a roster spot in training camp this summer. It didn't help that he was banged up in organized team activities and didn't really practice, working off to the side most days when the media was present. Knight finished his rookie season in 2022 with 85 carries for 300 yards (3.5 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding 13 receptions for 100 yards in seven games (four starts). The 22-year-old could be on the team's practice squad with Breece Hall (knee) coming back from an ACL tear and Michael Carter and rookie fifth-rounder Israel Abanikanda likely ahead of him on the depth chart.
