Dodgers Sign David Dahl To Minor-League Deal
1 year agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers signed outfielder David Dahl to a minor-league deal on Tuesday, and he will make his debut for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Dahl stays in the National League West after the San Diego Padres designated him for assignment two weeks ago. He is a career .271/.317/.463 hitter over 331 games in the big leagues, but he has a tough time staying healthy and has slashed .199/.236/.303 in 91 games (328 plate appearances) with the Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers and Padres in the last three seasons. At Triple-A El Paso this year, the 29-year-old left-hander was hitting .265 (18-for-68) with five doubles, a homer and 10 RBI in 17 games. He'll represent outfield depth in LA.
