Steelers To Sign Nick Kwiatkoski
1 year agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers plan to sign free-agent inside linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski to an undisclosed deal after hosting him on a tryout during the team's mandatory minicamp last week. Kwiatkoski was one of two players invited to the camp on a tryout, alongside former Carolina Panthers linebacker Jermaine Carter. The team cleared a spot on the 90-man roster by releasing safeTy Scott Nelson last week. Kwiatkoski gives Pittsburgh more depth at inside linebacker. The 30-year-old has played seven seasons in the NFL after the Chicago Bears took him in the fourth round in 2016. He played in 12 games (zero starts) for the Atlanta Falcons in 2022 and finished with seven tackles (three solo).
