James Wood Hits Fourth Double-A Homer
1 year agoWashington Nationals outfield prospect James Wood hit his fourth home run for Double-A Harrisburg. It is his 12th home run of the year, with the other eight coming from his time with High-A Wilmington. The IMG Academy product is slashing a solid .254/.282/.537 with eight runs, 14 RBI, and 25 strikeouts in 17 games with Harrisburg. His six-foot-six frame generates near-unparalleled raw power and has already led to 26 home runs in his 161-game minor-league career. The 20-year-old is not close to the majors, but as one of the best prospects in baseball, he is a must-roster in any dynasty league.
