1 year agoNew York Mets first baseman Daniel Vogelbach is back in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This is the first time that Vogelbach has been in the lineup since June 7. The Mets were giving the slumping corner infielder a mental break. He's slashing .203//343/.297 with two home runs and 14 RBI in 34 games this season. He'll serve as the designated hitter and bat seventh versus right-hander Miles Mikolas on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
