1 year agoLess than a week after being promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma, right-handed pitching prospect Emmet Sheehan will debut at the major-league level for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has pitched lights-out this season for Double-A Tulsa, going 4-1 with a 1.86 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and 88 strikeouts in 12 starts. The 23-year-old's first start will be Friday night against a San Francisco Giants team that ranks ninth in OPS and runs scored.
