1 year agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (undisclosed) was back on the practice field for mandatory minicamp this week. The Ravens held Edwards out of organized team activities as a precaution, but apparently they felt he had made enough progress to get back on the field this week. The 28-year-old missed all of the 2021 season and the first six games of last year after tearing his ACL in the preseason in 2021. He also missed three games in November of last year with a hamstring ailment, so Edwards has had his share of injuries the last few years. J.K. Dobbins will be the team's lead back in 2023, but Edwards will be the No. 2 in Baltimore's backfield. Edwards averaged 5.0 yards per carry in 2022, but durability concerns and an emphasis on improving the passing game this year will hurt Edwards' fantasy value.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
