Corbin Carroll Returns To Starting Lineup Thursday
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is back in the starting lineup Thursday afternoon against the Philadelphia Phillies. The NL Rookie of the Year front-runner got a well-earned breather on Wednesday night against a left-hander in the Phillies' Ranger Suarez but will re-enter the lineup to take on right-hander Aaron Nola Thursday afternoon. The 22-year-old has been even better than advertised in his first full MLB season, hitting .311 with 14 home runs, 19 stolen bases, and a .993 OPS across 65 appearances on the campaign. Of course, he's already among the elite fantasy baseball assets while his 3.4 fWAR is only inferior to the Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. to this point in the season.
