Rashod Bateman To Miss A Few Days Of Practice
1 year agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman will miss the next few days of practice after receiving a cortisone shot, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The 23-year-old wideout has played in just 18 games since being drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but this absence isn't cause for concern just yet. Cortisone shots are intended to reduce pain or swelling in a specific area of the body and this early in the offseason, that's not a big deal, but his health is worth monitoring. Bateman looks to hang on to a top-three spot in Lamar Jackson's passing offense with the additions of Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers ahead of the 2023 season.
