Christian Encarnacion-Strand Hits Home Run No. 17
1 year agoCincinnati Reds first base prospect Christian Encarnacion-Strand hit his 17th home run of the season in a game for Triple-A Louisville. He went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs, and two RBI. The 23-year-old has dominated through 42 games this season, slashing .362/.427/.734 with 41 runs and 46 RBI. He has been especially dangerous over the past week, slashing .519/.618/.963 with three home runs, nine RBI, and a 20.6% walk rate. With the NL Central up for grabs, the Reds will likely call up the first base prospect to the majors soon. Those in redraft leagues should be stashing Encarnacion-Strand.
